1. Who we are
Kravets Art LLC ("Inkpresario", "we", "us") provides marketing and booking-management services to tattoo artists, including running Instagram advertising and managing direct-message conversations with prospective clients on our artists' behalf. We also run the Inkpresario app, which the artists we work with and our own team use (see section 4). This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
It covers this website and the artist booking pages we operate at the artists' own domains (zktattoo.ink, heretic.ink).
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us by email or submit the application form on this site or in our app, we collect what you choose to share: typically your name, email address, Instagram handle, portfolio link, city, and details about your business. We do not collect payment information through this website.
When you submit the application form, on this site or in the app, those answers are sent to our own internal booking system and stored there so our team can review your application and get back to you. They are not published anywhere on this site.
Booking requests on artist pages. Some pages on this site let you request a tattoo session with a specific artist. If you submit that form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and Instagram handle, along with the design details you configured (style, placement, size, the estimated price, a session date if you picked one, and any reference image or 3D placement preview you attached). This is sent to our internal booking system and stored there so the artist can review and answer your request. It is used only to handle your booking and is never published or used for unrelated marketing.
Information collected automatically. We use Vercel Web Analytics on every page of this site to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It is cookieless and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other websites. It records a page view with coarse technical details such as the referring site, the type of device, and the country the request came from. When the application form on this site is submitted we also record a single event noting the city entered and whether the applicant said they would travel, so we know which markets people are applying from. That event deliberately does not include your name, email address, Instagram handle, or portfolio link.
Advertising measurement on artist pages. The artist booking pages (and only those pages) can load Google, Meta and TikTok measurement tags when we run ads to them. These tags may set cookies (such as Google's _ga, Meta's _fbp and TikTok's _ttp) and report to Google, Meta or TikTok that a page was visited and that a booking request was submitted, so we can tell which ads work. They are not loaded on the rest of this site. You can block them with any standard ad or tracker blocker; the booking form works the same either way.
Outside those artist pages, this site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or tracking scripts.
3. Instagram & Facebook platform data
As part of running an artist's Instagram presence, we use Meta's Instagram Platform APIs to send and receive direct messages with people who inquire about a booking. Through this integration we may access and store: the sender's Instagram handle and name, message content, and message timestamps. This data is used only to follow up on booking inquiries and manage the resulting conversation and appointment. It is never sold or used for unrelated advertising.
If you have messaged one of our artists on Instagram and want this data deleted, see our Data Deletion Instructions.
4. The Inkpresario app
The Inkpresario app for iPhone and iPad is for the tattoo artists who work with us and for our own booking managers. Tattoo clients do not use it. We create every account: an artist gets an email invite once we accept their application, and our admins create accounts for our team.
Applying from the app. A tattoo artist without an account can apply to join from the app's sign-in screen. The app then sends your Instagram handle, your email address, the city you work in, a portfolio link if you add one, and whether you would travel to a guest spot. It is the same application as the form on this site and is handled the same way (section 2): our team uses it only to review your application and reply to you by email. Nothing else is collected before you sign in.
What the app collects. Everything below is linked to your account and used only to run the app and our booking service:
- Your account: your display name, the email you sign in with, your account ID and, if you add one, your profile photo.
- Bookings and clients: calendar entries, bookings, days off, tours and guest spots, session reports, client ratings and booking notes. This includes the names, Instagram handles, email addresses and phone numbers of clients that our managers record on a booking, and the prices and deposit amounts of bookings.
- Deposit details you add: your Zelle and Venmo handles and QR code images, so clients know where to send a deposit. The app itself takes no payments.
- Messages and media: chat messages with your booking team and with clients, photos you send in chat, the photos and videos you upload to your portfolio, and anything you send us through Report a problem.
- Device and app activity: a push notification token for each device you sign in on, which conversation a manager has open (so two managers do not answer the same client at once), and an artist's progress through the guided demo.
- Crash reports: when the app hits an error, it sends the error message, the screen it happened on and your account ID to our server, where they are written to our hosting provider's logs, not to our database.
The app opens your photo library only when you pick a photo or video to send or upload. It does not use your camera, microphone, location or contacts.
No tracking. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell app data or share it for advertising.
Push notifications. To notify you, we pass your device's push token and the notification text to Expo, our push notification provider, which delivers them through Apple's push service (Google's on Android). You can turn notifications off in the app's settings or your device's settings.
AI features. Some features send data to AI providers that process it for us as service providers:
- Anthropic (Claude). When you tap Translate on a message in the app, the text of that message is sent to Anthropic to translate it. The app asks for your permission before the first translation after you sign in, and you can switch AI translation off again in the app's Settings. On our servers, Anthropic also processes client conversations to write booking briefs for artists, draft replies for our managers, suggest booking details from a conversation, sort the inbox by urgency, and read the amount on a deposit receipt screenshot. A draft is only a suggestion: a manager decides what is sent to a client.
- OpenAI. Transcribes a client's voice message when a manager asks for it, and turns message text into search vectors so reply drafts can follow the style of similar past replies.
Deleting your app account. In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account, or email parlor@inkpresario.com from the address you sign in with. We sign you out right away. Within 30 days we delete your account and the personal data tied to it, and we email you when it is done. The only exception is what we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons, such as records of completed bookings, deposits and commissions, and from those we remove your contact details.
How long we keep app data. For as long as your account is open, and then until it is deleted as described above. Push tokens are switched off when you sign out of the app on that device.
5. How we use it
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether our services are a fit
- Set up and manage advertising campaigns and lead follow-up on your behalf, if you become a client
- Communicate with you about your account or campaigns
- Run the Inkpresario app for the artists we work with and for our team: bookings, chat, notifications and the features described in section 4
6. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate. Each processes data on our instructions and under its own privacy policy:
- Meta Platforms, for advertising (including the Meta measurement tag on the artist booking pages described in section 2) and the Instagram Platform APIs we use to send and receive direct messages.
- Vercel, which hosts this website and our internal booking system, and provides the cookieless Web Analytics described in section 2.
- Supabase, the database provider where our internal booking system stores applications submitted through this site along with client and conversation records and the app data described in section 4. Data is held on servers in the United States.
- Email providers, for the messages we exchange with you directly.
- Google and TikTok, whose advertising measurement tags may run on the artist booking pages as described in section 2, to measure which of our ads lead to booking requests.
- Anthropic, which provides the Claude AI models behind the app's Translate button and the AI features on our servers described in section 4.
- OpenAI, for voice message transcription and the message search vectors described in section 4.
- Expo, which delivers the app's push notifications through Apple's and Google's push services.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
7. Data retention
We keep contact, client, and conversation data for as long as needed to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. App accounts are covered in section 4.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time. See our Data Deletion Instructions or email parlor@inkpresario.com directly. If you use the Inkpresario app, you can also delete your account in the app under Settings, Delete account.
